At the Happiness Project Gretchen Rubin talks about some great tips to avoid nagging. While not all of them will work in every situation most of the are great advise.
I spent some quality time this week with Mozilla labs Jetpack gallery and found some good tools for reworking how I interact with my computer.

Taking control of one's life is one of the hardest scariest things a person can make. The unknown almost always feels scarier than any shit we may be going through.
I'm glad to see that you took the very gutsy move of documenting your plans on a Blog as it makes your willingness to change for the best public, a commitment of sorts.
